Removing makeup can be a chore after a long day. My skin sometimes feel sticky after using an oil-based makeup remover.
I received a sample of Bifesta and I decided to put it to test last night.

I was quite deterred by the term “water-based” because oil has been known to break down pigments in makeup. Makeup is waterproof, what can a water-based makeup remover do?
Then again, I was so tired and “non-rinse” appealed to me. I tried the sebum cleansing lotion which is most suited for my combination skin.
Indeed, the cleansing lotion wasn’t oily at all. It looks like water on my cotton pad. I would love to show you a picture but you will probably say I’m lame because it is literally looks like water.
I immediately went for my eye area and off came the hardcore mascara and gel eyeliner. It was that good!
My skin was spared from the sticky after-feel and all my makeup was gone with minimal effort. I didn’t feel a need to rinse my face at all. The cleansing lotion was refreshingly light!
I have sensitive eyes and some makeup removers cause my eyes to turn red upon contact. Yes, sometimes even when I close my eyes. However, Bifesta didn’t cause any redness despite the warning below - avoid contact with eyes.
I’m not kidding you. My eyes are so sensitive I have to use extended wear contact lens from Air Optix or Johnson & Johnson which cost a bomb. Sadly, my eyes still turn red after 8 hours of usage. I have tried Biomedics and Bausch and Lomb but they never fail to make me tear after merely 4 hours.

Elizabeth Arden established the American beauty industry a century ago when she opened the first Red Door salon on Fifth Avenue in 1910.

The same classic fragrance with a new signature look.
Check out this limited edition Red Door body powder. I love big stuff and I really love this big packaging and fragrance. Yes, they served us food and wine at Orgo.
The eight hour cream skin protectant in a glass jar looks and smells pleasant! It relieves minor skin irritations like dry skin and redness.
Gotta stay gold with Ceramide gold capsules for face and eyes set. I was surprised with its fast absorption on my skin despite the solution being oily. Anti-aging at its best!
When in doubt, wear red lipstick!
Look at the bling on the clutch! Glamorous!
The theme for the night was red and gold and I thought it was sweet of them to give us different red and gold gifts.

The Skincare enhances the skin’s own power to hydrate to maintain ideal moisture and combat the first signs of aging. Without proper moisture, skin can feel tight and uncomfortable or become more oily. Dry skin can appear drawn, sallow, more deeply lined, and less firm; unexpected blemishes can pop up. I fully agree!

The Skincare purifying cleansing foam is refreshing with purifying granules that effectively removes makeup and dulling impurities while retaining essential moisture.

I swear by Shiseido Suncare. I frowned when I first saw SPF 50 because I thought it would be thick and greasy like most suncare but Shiseido proved me wrong! Shiseido multi-defense UV protector is really gentle on my skin.
Amazing products with simplicity in terms of usage and packaging. I tried the Pureness range not long ago. It was great but a little drying on my cheeks. I have combination skin.
Dermablend Professional provides the best coverage! Look what Dermablend did to Zombie Boy! Mind blown!
Beauty trends from S/S 12 One can never go wrong with smoky eyes! Subtle yet seductive glossy brownish pink eyes were seen at John Galliano (left). Too gentle for your liking? Try pretty taupe and brown shimmer as seen at Lanvin (middle). Otherwise, go all out with extreme smoky eyes which people couldn’t resist at Rodarte (right).
