Wicked

Caught Wicked at Marina Bay Sands on 20 December 2011.

By the Australia cast!

The sound was beautiful! The vocals and live ensemble was kick ass.

Flamboyant costumes.

Stunning sights.

Wicked is good but not a must-see.

Something was lacking - it wasn’t Wicked enough to be tear-jerking.

Mike Posner and Train at Sony Uphoria!

Caught Mike Posner and Train live on 03 December 2011 with thanks to Christina! 2 solid hours of kick ass music! The crowd was insane! More than 3k fans were present.

With host, Oli Pettigrew

Do you wanna be my girl?

He threw a teddy to his fans.

Train was really nice to their fans! The band threw guitar picks, t-shirts, drum sticks and

He passed a freaking guitar to his fans on the left side of the stage!

Y u no pass to the fans in the middle?! I was right in front.

Mike and Train sang Don’t Stop Believing by Journey together! They totally made my night!

Patrick went around to snap photos with his fans’ cameras.

He grabbed my camera as I was standing in front of the stage. Hooray!

But he didn’t manage to capture me or himself. :( You can see a trace of him on the left edge, and the mic at the bottom of the picture.

Jimmy makes me wanna dust my ukuleles.

I’m off to download music from Sony!

Drops of Jupiter is my current fave even though it was released many years ago.

Caught The Adventures of the Mad Chinaman (by Dick Lee) at DBS Arts Centre on Friday. It was fantastic! No one could resist his jokes.

“This show is based on my autobiography. I know you all cannot read that is why I decided to do a show.”

The Adventures of the Mad Chinaman showcases his life story from birth to 1990. Only someone like Dick Lee would wear hot pants to debut in Japan during those days.

He sang some of his songs and about politics too, like in his 2004 concert. This time round, an updated version. “Oh no, no more minister mentor!”, Yam Ah Mee, Tin Pei Ling and even her Kate Spade bag was not spared. “The Holy Trinity is watching us. Who are they? The father, son and Holy Goh”.

LOL. The concert was mad good! I doubt he will do another one because he did one earlier this year and it was a sell-out run at Esplanade. I’m glad I caught this show because it was the final run. I wish he did it at the Esplanade instead of the DBS Arts Centre because the projection wasn’t as good.

I’m looking forward to The Return of the Mad Chinaman in April 2012! Singapore Chinese Orchestra will be involved. Sounds interesting to me! It’s a sequel featuring his life from 1990 to present. “I am still alive!”.

Met the usuals at Rebel for CB’s birthday celebration. A pity the music wasn’t good so we went to chill at MBK after that. See how happy CB was with his gift! HAHAHA. Hope all of you had fun cause I sure did! More photos are available on FB.

20 December, here I come!
