Thank you Hayden!
Met up with Miss Universe Singapore 2011 team on 11 December 2011 for an early Christmas gathering! A pity we haven’t seen the full strength in a long while due to other commitments but I’m really thankful they came into my life!

Empire State is famous for their ribs! I had half slab BBQ ribs! It was good!

Guilty pleasure! Aren’t you glad I didn’t twitpic this?
I’m lazy to show you all the gifts but here’s a sneak peek of what I gave:
And what I got:
Just what I needed - a mascara!
Homemade gifts can never go wrong!
I can’t wait to see them again!
5 November 2011:
Had dinner with Miss Universe Singapore (MUS) team at Table at 7. It wasn’t easy to reserve a table for 16 pax but Hayden was awesome!
MUS 1987 joined us for dinner and I am totally embarrassed. She is a mother of 2 but her figure is way better than mine. I didn’t take a picture with her last night but here’s one we took in July at Zirca.

From left, MUS 1987, MUS 2011, MUS 2002 and me. The other queens keep themselves in good shape too.

With trainer Ida, and two MUS 2011 finalists Nicole and Audrey.

I had beef cheeks (above) which looks like a brownie. Interesting texture with minced beef.

Best bread pudding ever!

Table at 7 serves great food and wine but they cost a bomb. The crispy almond and apple crumble tart (above) cost me $15. I have to admit it was heavenly though.
We initially wanted to go to Holland V’s 2am dessert bar but it was full so we went to Coffee Bean for frozen yoghurt instead.
I’m damn blessed to be part of the MUS team. I love the people and a simple “thank you” is not enough to express my gratitude for everything they have given me - grooming, advices and friends for life. I sometimes wonder why I am so lucky.
Will I join another pageant? I have no idea. MUS 2011 is my first pageant and I realise I have a whole lot to learn. It is not as simple as it seems. Meanwhile, let me continue to count my blessings.
The 5” heels sponsored by Ricci No for Miss Universe Singapore 2011 are up for sale at $159 per pair under new arrivals.
They are high enough to kill but surprisingly comfortable!
Great ketchup with Miss Universe Singapore team last night at The Garden Slug. The food was good (reasonably priced, huge ass portion!) but the company was best!

I was browsing through Aesthetics & Beauty Guide archive. I think these photos don’t do justice to all of us.
Anyway, I decided to post this because some beauty secrets are really good! I am a huge fan of Vaseline thanks to my dear friend Val.

I have two large Vaseline at home - one in my bag and the other on my bedside. I carry Vaseline around everywhere for my lips and emergency purposes in case anyone has minor cuts or burns.
New flats/heels can be a pain in the ass - blisters! Apply Vaseline before putting them on and I guarantee you will have smooth skin all day long. There are many other uses for Vaseline. The list never ends. Google them!
I place one on my bedside for my lips and eyelashes as shown above simply because I’m… lazy to dig for Vaseline in my big bag before bed. This also explains why I only snapped one Vaseline.
Laziness is getting into me this holiday. It’s bad!
Valerie’s farewell party at Mulligan’s Irish Pub last night. I will upload more when I get hold of them.
Some food from Mulligan’s last night for your eyes to feast on - pork tenderloin, sausage platter, calamari, satay, mushrooms, apple crumble, bread and butter pudding.
This is the best apple crumble I’ve ever had! Perfect blend of ice cream straight from freezer and piping hot apple crumble which wasn’t too sweet. Marvelous!! Most of us were fans of the mushroom, satays and spicy chicken wings too!
Thank you LifeBrandz for sponsoring once again! They are extremely generous. They sponsored venue (Groove, Cafe del Mar, Rebel) for our MSU gathering/photoshoot.
I’ve gained some weight this week with farewells and birthday celebrations. I will get back in shape real soon before I get thrown off my title. Jk.
The unofficial MSU ang moh food party last night was a blast! A thousand gratitudes to Dennis and KK! There were many other orgasmic food.
I’m gonna give the Jewelry Show and party at South Coast (both at Marina Bay Sands) a miss tonight otherwise I won’t be able to wake up for internship tomorrow. Shame!

All gowns from Hayden Boutique except third, fifth and eighth from left. Stunning accessories from Michal Negrin.

I love this gown! The high cut and the frills (abdominal area) flow with that piece of cloth. I don’t think you can see clearly in the photos but it’s beautiful! Thank you Papa H.

And the smell of Hayden Boutique - lemon grass!

I was the only girl without faux lashes that night.

Back to my kampung clothes after all that glam.

Heck yeah, I’m still mad!

I’m sure I’ve changed the most in MSU journey.

I literally LOL-ed at this because those who drank the detox tea from Lumiere had… need I say more? I was one of those but the rest who drank the rejuvenating tea were fine.

Dennis the photog!
At sponsors’ events
Orchard Scotts Dental. I love their service quality! I managed to bring in business for them via word of mouth.

Harley Davidson’s apparels are to right down my line! I’m glad I don’t ride otherwise I’d be eyeing on their sexy bikes. Stay tuned for more Harley Davidson this mid October!
After MSU? Check out my Facebook, previous posts or meet me in person. I guess more recent photos will be up tomorrow night because

We’re gonna party at Dennis’ tomorrow evening! Yayness! He uploaded this on Facebook several hours ago. See how generous they are! KK is a great cook! He cooks for us every time we use their premise. I thought he is a chef all this while until he appeared on The Business Times as a CEO in an industry not related to F&B - full page! I almost had to look for a plastic surgeon to fix my jaw.
Like I said, MSU isn’t over. There’s more to come. ;)
Feast on tomorrow! I don’t believe in diets because I can never say no to food.
