I love how the gown turned heads at Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards (NAPBAS). Some commented that the gown leaves no room for imagination because of the great fit while some said it looks atas. Either way, I fancy the gown, especially the bright color and cut.
Hayden was really kind to provide me with jewelry from Michal Negrin to match his gown.

I want this blazer from Mastermind Japan so badly! The cut and fit is perfect. I love the skull behind. It is not an empty cut out. My dress colour happens to be similar.
I’m sure this will never go out of season but there is no reason for me to get a $399 blazer. Mastermind Japan, y u so expensive?!

Bumped into some of my internship colleagues as CapitaLand held their D&D at Swissotel last night. A pity most them gave the afterparty a miss.
Champagne shower! Last Friday night was great even though I didn’t manage to bust a move. It’s always networking on the dance floor during events.

VNTM film an episode in Singapore on 18 Nov 2011! Special thanks to my booker for the invitation. He was nice and said I could bring 5 friends along but I only brought 2.
They used a number of pieces from Tchaikovsky like Swan Lake and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. I thought I heard a reprise of Swan Lake towards the end of the show. Here’s some photos from the show. Apologies for the strong lighting as they were filming.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011 is not the same without these angels
English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who shot to fame after replacing Megan Fox in Transformers, had another job commitment.
Heidi Klum who resigned in 2010 after 13 years with VS.
Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen who part ways with VS in 2007 after failed contraction negotiation as VS wouldn’t raise her $5 million-a-year salary.
American model Tyra Banks who left VS in 2005 to concentrate on her television career.
My all-time fave Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw who was a no show in 2010 after 2 consecutive years in VS fashion show as she was recovering from a bike accident. She attended VS 2011 casting but she was not cast in the end. Whatever, she caught my eyes way before her debut in VS. I’ve been her fan since 2004 when she won the Girlfriend Cover Girl Model Search.

Chanel Iman put on 15 pounds for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011
While Adriana Lima gave up solids to for the Victoria’s Secret show, her colleague Chanel Iman is slightly more blessed in the metabolism department. Chanel Iman actually had to put on weight by drinking lots of protein shakes and doing a lot of weight lifting.
Does VS really embrace curves? Neither healthy nor natural, fellow angel Karlie Kloss’ extreme thinness did not prevent her from being in high demand. She suffered from eating disorders and was hospitalized several times.
Perhaps Kloss should put on some weight too.
